Tour Description
Boat ride up Sekoyer river, enjoy searching wildlife surrounding the forest. some group of proboscis monkey, long tail macaque are normally easy to find a long the river bank. when the lucky with you, False Gavial crocodile sometime come up on the water survey for dry out specially at the black water river up to camp leakey. You have opportunity to take long hike at camp leakey, pondok tanggui, pesalat and enjoy watching orangutan feeding time at 3 different camp. Continuing to Banjarmasin diamond mining, and feel adventurous of traditional bamboo rafting and at the end involved directly with the local peoples at the traditional floating market.

Itinerary
DAY 1 : PANGKALAN BUN – KUMAI – PARK
Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport you will be picked up by your guide and take you to Kumai for 20 minutes board on the boat. The boat is a traditional Klotok wooden river boat about 12m by 2.5m with roof upper deck where you can view the rain forest as it glides by. The guide’s team includes the boatman, a cook and expert guide. In the peaceful afternoon we will slowly explore the quite river by the klotok while observe the wildlife such as long noses monkey, long tail macaque, birds along the riverside. Dinner and overnight on the boat. simple mattress, pillow, fine meals, bottled “mineral” water, mosquito net, kitchen, simple toilet available on boat besides the familiar – helpful guides and boatmen (L, D).

DAY 2 : PARK – CAMP LEAKEY – BOAT
After breakfast board the klotok to travel up river for about 2½ hours boating boating and then up a side creek through tea colored water where you will see the the magnificent reflection from the vegetation along the river, when lucky with us, the fresh water crocodile and other wildlife attraction could find a long river bank. Depart at Camp Leakey where the older orangutans are reintroduced into the rain forest and also known as research center for Orangutan. Trekking through tropical rainforest searching for wildlife, wild orangutan, birds and other rainforest animals as well as tropical jungle plant. Back to the boat for lunch then witness feeding time at 14.00 pm for old rehabilitation orangutan given additional foods. Overnight on the boat around croc net. (B,L,D).

DAY 3 : BOAT – PONDOK TANGUY- TANJUNG HARAPAN
After breakfast board the klotok to travel up the river for Pondok Tanguy, the rehabilitation center for ex-captive orangutans, see feeding time at 09.00am. Hike through the forest of Pondok Tanggui searching for wildlife including wild orangutan, birds and others. Afterward continuing the trip to Pesalat reforestation camp, See the process of reforestation project. Afternoon visit Tanjung Harapan Rehabilitation center to witness feeding time for rehabilitant orangutan at 15.00. Free afternoon program, we could visit village near by park. Overnight on the boat. (B,L,D).
(Additional program when the weather is good, night walking around Pesalat or Pondok Tanggui searching for nocturnal animal & glowing mushroom or just boat slowly down the river for fireflies.)

DAY 4 : BOAT – KUMAI – PANGKALAN BUN AIRPORT – BANJARMASIN
Free morning program until time transfer to Kumai then to Pangkalan Bun airport fly to Banjarmasin . Upon your arrival at Syamsuddinnoor airport, meeting service with your guide/assistance who will escort you to Banjarmasin city where you will stay. ( dinner at local restourant ) O/N : Victoria hotel (B, L,D)

DAY 5 : FLOATING MARKET & DIAMOND TOUR
Early morning after breakfast transfer to boat terminal for joining River Tour visit Floating Market at lok baitan, Kembang Monkeys Island on Barito River , observing boat making and Coconut Oil Home Industry which are done in traditional way. Proceed to Sabilal Muchtadien Grand Mosque and Batik Sasirangan Cloth Industry by car, afterwards to Cempaka Village visiting Diamond Mining Field and traditional diamond workshop in Martapura. You will have chance for shopping various kind of precious stone jewellery or diamonds in reasonable price and reliable quality. In the afternoon drive to Loksado at Kandangan Regency with stop at Muara Hatip Village. In the evening visit Malaris Dayak Longhouse, where you might have chance to meet the natives at longhouse. Dinner and overnight at Amandit River Lodge. O/N Amandit river lodge or semilar. ( B, L, D )

DAY 6 : BAMBOO RAFTING – BANJARMASIN
After breakfast, visit some other villages and observe the native way of life and joining bamboo rafting through Amandit River with its unique and nature panorama for about 4 hours. Return after lunch to Banjarmasin . Dinner at local restourant. O/N Victoria Hotel. ( B, L, D)

DAY 7 : BANJARMASIN – DEPARTURE
Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the airport for your next destination. ( B )
