Orangutan and Bamboo rafting

DAY 1 : BALI/JAKARTA - PANGKALAN BUN - KUMAI - PARK
Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport you will be picked up by our local staff and take you to Kumai to board on the boat. In the peaceful afternoon observe the monkeys along the riverside. Dinner and overnight on the boat. or spend the night at the lodge near by the river (L, D).

DAY 2 : PARK - PONDOK TANGGUY - CAMP LEAKEY - BOAT/LODGE
After breakfast board the klotok to travel up river for about 2 hours boating and then up a side creek to Camp Leakey where the older orangutans  are reintroduced into the rain forest. En route stop at Pondok Tanguy, ex-captive orangutans, see feeding time at 09.00am . Then proceed to Camp Leakey take small trek before see feeding time at 14.00 pm. Overnight on the boat or at Rimba Lodge. (B,L,D).

DAY 3 : BOAT/LODGE - KUMAI - PANGKALAN BUN - BANJARMASIN .
Free morning program until time transfer to Kumai then to Pangkalan Bun for sightseeing around the original village then transfer to airport for Banjarmasin .upon arrival at Syamsuddin Noor airport Banjarmasin , transfer to your hotel. In the evening free program.(B,L,D)

DAY 4 : FLOATING MARKET & DIAMOND TOUR (B/L/D)
Early morning after breakfast transfer to boat terminal for joining River Tour visit Floating Market in Kuin Village , Kembang Monkeys Island on Barito River , observing boat making and Coconut Oil Home Industry which are done in traditional way. Proceed to Sabilal Muchtadien Grand Mosque and Batik Sasirangan Cloth Industry by car, afterwards to Cempaka Village visiting Diamond Mining Field and traditional diamond workshop in Martapura. You will have chance for shopping various kind of precious stone jewellery or diamonds in reasonable price and reliable quality. In the afternoon drive to Loksado at Kandangan Regency with stop at Muara Hatip Village . In the evening visit Malaris Dayak Longhouse, where you might have chance to meet the natives at longhouse. Dinner and overnight at Amandit River Lodge.

DAY 5 : BAMBOO RAFTING - BANJARMASIN (B/L/D)
After breakfast, visit some other villages and observe the native way of life and joining bamboo rafting through Amandit River with its unique and nature panorama for about 4 hours. Return after lunch to Banjarmasin .

DAY 6 : BANJARMASIN - DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the airport for your next destination

Day 01 : FROM JAKARTA - PONTIANAK (B)
Meeting service at the airport, transfer to your hotel. Dinner is provided in local restaurant.

Day 02 : PONTIANAK , KETAPANG, TELOK MELANE (BLD)
Depart in the morning by flight to Ketapang, then on to Teluk Melano by coach. Stay overnight at a simple accommodation.

Day 03 : TELOK MELANE, SEMANJAK, GUNUNG PALUNG NATIONAL PARK (BLD)
Depart to Semanjak by motorboat, then by rowing boat along meandering river to Gn. Palung National Park . Stay at the base camp. ( Semanjak to the site may take approx. a nine-hour boat trip, depending on river condition)

Day 04 : GUNUNG PALUNG NATIONAL PARK (BLD)
Jungle trekking, bird watching, seeing different types of ecosystem with different flora and fauna (see orang utans if we are lucky)

Day 05 : GUNUNG PALUNG NATIONAL PARK , TELOK MELANO (BLD )
Depart early morning via same route to Telok Melano. (the returning journey will be faster following the stream). Late afternoon, take a long boat to Kampung Baru to see proboscis monkeys soaring on trees by the river. Stay overnight at Telok Melano .

Day 06 : TELOK MELANO, PONTIANAK (BLD)
Take an express boat to return to Pontianak . Transfer to hotel.

Day 07 : PONTIANAK - PANGKALAN BUN (B L D)
Transfer to the airport for Pangkalan bun. Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport you will be picked up by our local staff and take you to Kumai to board on the boat. In the peaceful afternoon observe the monkeys along the riverside. Dinner and overnight on the boat. or spend the night at the lodge near by the river (L, D).

DAY 08 : PARK - PONDOK TANGGUY - CAMP LEAKEY - BOAT/LODGE (B L D)
